Secret Place
I feel like it’s been forever since I posted anything on the ol’ blog here. Between the Holidays, work and a rather large photo assignment I’ve been busy.
A friend and I went hiking the other day and found a hidden gem near our home. It’s amazing, the things you can find off the beaten path. We followed a cow trail up a canyon and it turned into a really fun adventure. I think the best part was being around all the water; there’s not much of it out here in the desert.

It’s amazing how much you can push a photo in Photoshop. These were exposed for the sky, but I masked off a curves layer and brought up the shadow area a considerable amount to match the sky exposure. Even at 100% it looked pretty good to me!
