Went to Hueco Tanks again last January for a little winter bouldering. It was a great time and I almost finished a project I’ve had stuck in the back of my mind since last November. Kenton finished King Cobra which was a lot of fun to watch. We camped in the cold and somehow survived a 30lb raccoon attack during the night. We woke up and our water faucet was completely frozen.
It was a lot of fun just hanging out watching other people climb. There was such a diverse group of climbers every where you went and they all seemed to have different backgrounds from all over the world.
Tom gave Baby Face a couple good burns, and I climbed the flake next to it. I had never climbed a flake before and it was pretty awesome!
I’m not sure who this guy was, but I really liked this shot I got of him.
As always, Hueco Tanks is a beautiful place just to visit. I can never decide if I want to shoot pictures, climb rocks, take a nap or watch other people display some hot ‘scending action!

Loved the pics and the stories behind them!! Beautiful!
