Well Number One in snow
Went out to Well No. 1 in the snow after work on Tuesday. I thought it would be a challenge in the snow, but surprisingly the road was not very slick at all. Must be a lot of clay in the soil or something.
Pumpjacks in fog
It was certainly a challenge exposing the snow. I forgot to reset the exposure compensation on my hand held meter and everything got a little under exposed. I made good use of my new tripod while locking the mirror. I think these are some of the sharpest pictures I have ever gotten from my 17-55.
Tire tracks in snow
I started getting really cold, but I ran out of light faster than I ran out of steam. I’m not sure if I’m happy with what I got, but I am happy that I at least got something.
